Giada De Laurentiis' daughter Jade gave her opinions of some of her mom's outfits from the past and she did not hold back.
In a video shared to social media on Thursday, Aug. 21, the Food Network alum shared a video, captioned, "As a birthday gift, Jade rated some of my old looks- Can't say she's not honest!"
The 17-year-old goes through 10 of De Laurentiis' outfits from various years, from casual fits to editorial photoshoots, ranking them from one through 10.

She started with a picture from Getty Images where De Laurentiis is wearing a flowy, red button-down top that's knot-tied in the middle over a black dress, with spatulas and a colander in hand. "This is giving, like, ballet instructor, slash, like, Southern. I like it," said Jade, giving the outfit an eight out of 10.
The next shot included a baby Jade being held by the chef, while she wore a pair of grey ripped jeans and a plain white, short-sleeved blouse with a built-in silver necklace.

"The little one is really cute. She's serving face. I'm going to give the child a 10 out of 10," said the teen, before pivoting to her mother's outfit. "What the hell is on her shirt? I don't like that. Six out of 10."
On the cover of her cookbook, Food Network Everyday Italian with Giada De Laurentiis - Weekend Cooking, De Laurentiis wore a flowery purple, black and grey tunic with a plunging neckline. To this, Jade commented, "It's giving 1960s. I kind of like it, it's giving witch," and gave it an 8 out of 10 ranking.
The lineup also included a paparazzi shot of the duo at the airport, in which a tween-aged Jade wears colorful leggings, which she said she wore to school almost every day during that time. On the other hand, she complimented her mom's outfit: a pair of blue jeans, a sheer, white button-down top, a light grey jacket and a grey Maison Goyard bag in her hand.
Jade had no words for the black, below-knee dress with beaded details on the bottom and around the collar that followed. "Four out of 10, no comment," she said and quickly moved on.

She also ranked the cover image of the three-disc set of Food Network's Everyday Italian with Giada De Laurentiis, mainly focused on her mom's facial expression, which she notes "looks like someone farted a little bit," yet complimented the star's flowy white and orange blouse.
"What the hell is going on here?" she questioned the unforgettable editorial shot of De Laurentiis standing in a white dress and red heels, pouring tomato sauce on herself. "She looks amazing, but wait, they made her look older in her face. But she looks great. She looks insanely fabulous, but 60." The dress received a nine out of 10 ranking.
Jade also commented on a red carpet event that she attended alongside her mother, to which she promptly covers her own shoes in the picture, where Giada wore a white blazer with matching shorts. Jade questioned the shorts as a fashionable choice.
This followed an image of De Laurentiis completely covered up in a purplish winter fur coat and hat on top of a navy blue outfit. "It's giving Russian — babushka," Jade said, quickly highlighting, "Safe to say the outfit wore her. Six out of 10."
The last image, a casual snap of De Laurentiis sitting on the side of a road wearing a white tank top, black pants, black shoes and green-framed sunglasses, Jade notes as her favorite outfit out of the lineup.

"This is giving normal, like look at her. She's like a baddie. She just turned 21. She went out the night [before] — she probably didn't," Jade teased. "The shoes, I can't tell if they're sneakers or boots, but I love them. She ate that. This is a 10 out of 10."
The video was well received, with her ranking system receiving its own applause in the comment section. "Jade commentary - 10 out of 10! Fabulous," wrote one fan. Even fellow Food Network star, Valerie Bertinelli, wrote, "She is hysterical 😂."
While a few of her outfits didn't get the highest scores, De Laurentiis may miss these fun moments when the teen goes to college.
In an interview with PEOPLE, she opened up about taking a college tour roadtrip with Jade ahead of her attending university this fall. "Just to have her all to myself for that week was one of the best gifts, especially as we entered the last year of her living at home, and all of the mixed emotions I have behind that. I'm super excited for her to fly and find herself and be who she wants to be, but at the same time, it's incredibly sad. I'm gonna miss her terribly."
The proud parent continued, "As a mom, you spend all 18 years of your life sort of cracking your schedule around her, you know your child and their needs, and all of a sudden it's all going to be gone," she explained. "And I don't know, it's really scary. It scares the s--- out of me, to be honest."
