"Love Island USA" is notching another split just over a month after the finale.
The reality show's Iris Kendall and Pepe Garcia have officially confirmed their split, a few days after eagle-eyed fans noticed the pair no longer followed each other on social media.
"We're not together anymore," Garcia, 27, told TMZ in a brief interview Aug. 28, "andthat's the way it goes."
The couple – who got together on the show after both of their previous partners had been ousted from the villa, where contestants stay and are filmed 24/7 – finished in fourth overall, following winning couple Bryan Arenales and Amaya Espinal, who have also since split a month after the finale.

"It's a tough thing when there's a lot of eyes on you 24/7," Garcia continued. "It's stressful. Being in the limelight isn't always the best thing in the world." As for fan speculation online, Garcia said he didn't pay the hate much mind, insisting that if his friends and family knew his real character, that's all that really matters.
News of the split comes the same week a pre-taped reunion special aired for the Season 7 cast. During the broadcast, Garcia and Kendall appeared to still be together, though figuring out their dating goals. They were one of the newer couples at the time of the finale.

"We've had conversations about what dating looks like to one another," Garcia said during the episode, "and it looks very different."
"I think you have to ask someone to be your girlfriend," Kendall insisted, but added that she thought they were "going in a good direction."
