Graziano describes her daughter as her "greatest teacher"
Natasha Graziano's daughter is officially one!
On Saturday, Aug. 23, the motivational speaker celebrated her daughter Nyla London's first birthday with a denim and diamonds-themed party. Graziano wore a snakeskin-printed denim corset with matching jeans and a cowboy hat, while her daughter wore a baby blue dress with a pacifier to match. The published author shares with PEOPLE that the event was "about more than a birthday."
"The celebration was about more than a birthday," she says. "It was about showing her that she is the light of my life, and that she can shine in her own way. I hope to inspire her every day with the work that I'm doing in the world, so that she will grow up to know her mama is an amazing role model."

Graziano, who is also mom to 9-year-old son Rio, went all out for her little one's big day. From cake pops with Nyla's name on them to a three-tier cake, she pulled out all the stops. There was even a blue-and-white bouncy house complete with a huge ball pit.
The mom and daughter were joined by famous friends like rapper Wiz Khalifa and Ridiculousness star Chanel West Coast, plus family members, including E! founder Larry Namer.
"As a single mom with no family out here this first birthday meant more than words," Graziano tells PEOPLE. "My friends became our family that day and that love is everything."
Graziano celebrated her daughter's big day at her mansion in Los Angeles. Reflecting on how far she's come, the published author said she's raising her daughter to use her voice and create a "life full of love, beauty and abundance."
"I'm raising my daughter to know her voice matters and that even if you start with nothing, you can create a life full of love, beauty and abundance," she shares.

While this year hasn't been the easiest for Graziano, she tells PEOPLE that her daughter has been her "greatest teacher."
"This past year has been the most beautiful challenging and rewarding journey of my life," the proud mom says. "My daughter has been my greatest teacher."
She continues, "As soon as she was born, I realized why she is here and I got so inspired I started writing my next book!"
