Hilaria Baldwin says bullies are to blame for her sudden exit from *Dancing With the Stars*.

Last week, Alec Baldwin's wife and her pro partner Gleb Savchenko became the fourth pair eliminated from season 34 of the dancing competition show. Getting candid about her departure, Baldwin claims she was intentionally bullied off the show thanks to a deluge of internet hate and a coordinated campaign to get her voted off.

"I'm very new to TikTok. I've only been on a couple months," Baldwin said during a recent chat with *Us Weekly*. "It's interesting because there's a lot of mean girls. I guess what people were doing is they were having campaigns where they wouldn't just vote for their favorite — because you can vote 10 times for a couple — they were voting for all the other couples except us, so they were boosting everybody else and trying to drown out my fan base."

The reality star previously made the claim during a candid Instagram Live on Oct. 10, three days after her elimination. "I did get bullied off the show. I did, that's for sure," she said. "That is for sure."**** Baldwin doubled down on the claim the following day in an Instagram video.

"I would be remiss if I didn't address the elephant in the room, which is that there was some bullying going on aimed at me over the past few weeks," she told followers. "Very coordinated, very strategic bullying. And as I feel the darkness that undoubtedly brings to me, I always want to remember that my life belongs to the whole community and I want to leave a lasting mark of courage to speak up against what is simply wrong."

She continued, "One of the most common things that people say to me when they meet me — when they *actually* meet me — is how surprised they are by negativity that I receive. Because in reality, I am none of the negative things that some people say and that breaks my heart."

Baldwin did get some support from fellow season 34 competitor Andy Richter, who took to Instagram on Thursday, stating that it "sucks" to see her sent home.

"Everybody there works just as hard as everybody else and they all deserve to be there," Richter said of the show. "I just don't know why people have to be so mean. But these are people. With families and kids. And these awful things that get said, they're heard by real people and they hurt real people."

Baldwin is no stranger to fending off internet hate. The entrepreneur and yoga instructor has previously spoken out about facing criticism over the authenticity of her Spanish accent (she was raised bilingual). She has also spent the past few years dealing with backlash related to husband Alec's involvement in the deadly *Rust* tragedy, which saw the actor wield the gun that discharged the live round that killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and wounded director Joel Souza.

"You never get used to people being mean," she said on an episode of the couple's TLC reality show, *The Baldwins*. "But you take a deep breath, and I think you learn to distance yourself from it, and so, you know, you just try turning down the volume in my head a bit… and I'm not gonna take it personally."

*Dancing With the Stars* airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC and Disney+, and streams the next day on Hulu.**
